Vibrational healing in Ancient Egypt.
The Prt M Hru belongs to the religious part of what we in the West would normally refer to as the "Book of the Dead". More correctly termed “The Book of the Coming Out into Day” or “Coming into the light”, it is a funerary text. It speaks of seven primary energy centers as Sefech (Sefek) Ba RA and uses vibrational healing to align them with celestial powers.
Concentrated vortices of life-force energy, (Sekhem,) transmit energy between the emotional, mental and spiritual planes, connecting the human body to source power from the Creator and Sustainer of Life, Ra.
Aritu (spinning wheels) and Arushaats (Seats of light) govern aspects of our existence on the physical, mental and spiritual planes. It was believed that continued existence into the Afterlife required a person to be able to exist without a normally functioning human body. In short, for a person’s soul and spirit to continue on alone. This mystical transformation from mortal to eternal being was achieved by the vibrational healing of these energy centers to vitalise the light body called the Merkaba.
Sefer Ba Ra and the Chakras
Today the Seven Souls of RA are more commonly referred to as the Chakras in recognition of their similarities to the more commonly recognised energy centers described in the Indian traditions. Interestingly, the Roman historian Diodorus Siculus proposed that the Hindu tradition may indeed have developed from Egyptians who had headed East, 10,000 years before.
In the late 19th century independent French archaeologist R. A. Schwaller de Lubicz described how he had discovered that ancient temples of Egypt had been strategically aligned along the Nile to correlate with the same vibrational healing signatures as the Sefer ba ra.
Schwaller de Lubicz thinking revolutionized Egyptian archaeology and symbolism. It was his work that popularized interest in sacred geometry and how energy centers can be influenced with vibrational healing. Now detailed study of temple writings reveal that the priests working in the temples used specific oils to activate different energy centers. These recipes are inscribed into detailed instructions on temple walls. Although in modern parlance these are known as “essential oils”, these predated distillation as we know it by around 2000 years. Nevertheless, special concoctions of oils were created by the priests to activate the Sefer Ba Ra.
